6 Things You Can Do Today to Improve Your Health
The healthiest and most natural way to lose weight is to follow these steps.
These will help keep cravings, blood sugar levels and hangry-ness at bay and keep you fuller for longer and living with more energy and vitality.
Following these steps will naturally crowd out some caffeine each day and also processed foods. This coupled with steps 3 and 5 will really help you to manage your stress too!
Pick one at a time and make an action plan for how you can implement it over the next couple of weeks. Once you have established one new healthy habit, pick another one and repeat the process.
Eat breakfast - Overnight oats is a great breakfast for busy people. Add ground flax seeds and chia seeds and sweeten with some natural fruits or good quality honey
Drink more water - Have 1 or two glasses when you wake up and make sure to have a glass before every meal and snack in the day. Use a reminder on your phone if you need to. Try not to drink too much at once or too close to bed time! Carry a water bottle with you all day and track how much you are drinking with an app.
Develop a bed time routine so you get to bed at a time which will allow you to have 7-8 hours sleep
Eat more vegetables with every meal and lots of leafy greens
Mindfulness - 10 minutes a day using the headspace app (this could be added into the bed time routine!)
Natural, healthy, unprocessed foods for snacking e.g. make some energy balls or sweet potato bread or snack on fruit and nuts
