Hi, I’m Meryl! I like to keep things simple in my life. I love the outdoors and keeping active - preferably in nature and with my trail running shoes on! I am a big believer in the power of the mind but also in the power of good, nutritious food to heal the body.

I feel we can all benefit from slowing down and putting our own health and wellbeing first.

Then we can better serve others and those who are most important in our lives.

Carving out an hour or two a month and talking with a coach in a safe, non-judgemental space is often all we need to feel empowered again and make the achievable lifestyle changes that we know will improve our life.

I am a very positive person and I love helping people like you to get the confidence and clarity you need to live a life with more fulfilment. I know that your time is really important (and limited!) and I can help you to optimise your time so you can do more of what you love and get those desired healthy habits to stick once and for all.

Imagine no longer having regrets or frustrations

You know the ones - they often linger around when you have not managed to maintain momentum or go back to square one with your exercise or healthy eating goals.

With this structure and the support, encouragement and accountability that you get from working with a coach, you will also get from where you are now to where you want to be much quicker than doing it alone.

NLP coaching methods which I use have been created from studying highly successful people and will really help you to make the mindset shifts you need to get started and to keep moving forward.

My Journey to Coaching

My first career was Physical Education teaching in secondary schools. In 2019 I officially started Coaching as my profession, alongside my training as a GB ultra-trail runner.

I was fortunate to train as a Professional Coach in Education as part of my leadership training and it was at this point that I started to see the incredible, life changing power of Coaching.

I soon knew that this is what I was meant to be doing as my career. I also realised how much I cared about helping other people to overcome challenges and live a more healthy, active and fulfilled life.

Coaching helped me to go from living life at a million miles per hour, being very stressed out and trying to work 12 hour days… to establishing a much healthier balance between my sport, work and other important areas of my life. My physical health has drastically improved and I am better equipped with the internal resources required to bounce easily back from challenges and setbacks.

It’s no surprise that this enabled me to then perform at my best, represent my country in my sport and set up my coaching business – achievements I was only dreaming could be possible some time ago.

I really do believe that we can achieve the balance that we desire in the important parts of our health and life

We just need a bit of support, structure and challenge from a coach along the way!

Otherwise we tend to just go back to our old patterns and we never have the time to do what we really want to do. It’s hard, in fact very hard, to keep your limiting patterns and your life the same when you focus so much consistent attention on what you really want and make commitments to a third party.
