How to foster a positive mindset

Acceptance, resilience, gratitude and mindfulness are all part of a positive mindset.

Fostering a positive mindset means having a positive perspective overall.

Another important part of positivity is REALISTIC OPTIMISM which is believing you will succeed while recognising possible challenges ahead. Realistic optimists see both the negative and the positive. 

They take action steps to make success happen because they believe that success doesn’t happen TO them; they control their own future. 

When you set goals, remember to ask yourself, what might stop me from achieving this? What might stop me from doing the action step that you plan to do? Be ready for the inevitable ups and downs and identify ways that you can overcome these. You cannot predict every challenge that will come your way but you can learn to become very resourceful!
